Heartland x Prxjects Stage @ Home 2020

Since 2018, we have hosted and curated our own stage at Heartland Festival. We call it Prxjects Stage. Prxjects Stage is part of the beautiful Heartland Festival that takes place at one of the most scenic places in Denmark; in the surrounding gardens of Egeskov Castle build in 1554 placed on the Danish island Fyn. Due to COVID-19, as many others, we have had to do things differently this year. We made the shows without an audience, and instead we brought the shows to the audience’s own screens! In collaboration with the young video production team Ophav Film and sound engineer Jacob Brøndlund, we created five one-take live video sessions filmed on various locations around the castle: in The Renaissance Garden, in the woods, and near the lake, where the Prxjects Stage is normally located. The live-on-tape productions were live-streamed on the weekend when Heartland festival should have taken place. Despite the fact that there was no festival audience, our focus has still been to create an intimate experience - close to the artist.
